Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using WatchVin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the platform. These terms apply to all users of WatchVin, including during any free trial or beta period.

2. Description of service

WatchVin is a private collection management platform that allows users to record, track, and analyze their luxury watch collections. Features include portfolio tracking, valuation estimates, provenance records, market analytics, and document storage. WatchVin is a personal record-keeping tool and is not a marketplace, brokerage, or financial advisory service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use WatchVin. By using the platform, you represent that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. WatchVin is currently available for personal use only — commercial resellers and dealers are not permitted to use the platform without prior written approval.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. Specifically:

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must not share your login credentials with any third party.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You are solely responsible for all data you enter into the platform.

5. Your data and content

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into WatchVin, including watch records, documents, photos, and notes. By storing content on WatchVin, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your collection data and will not share it with third parties except as required by law.

6. Valuation and market data

Market valuations, price estimates, demand indexes, and analytics displayed in WatchVin are based on publicly available auction records, market aggregates, and algorithmic models. These figures are estimates only and may not reflect actual current market conditions. WatchVin does not provide financial, investment, or insurance advice. You should not rely on WatchVin valuations for insurance coverage, sale pricing, or any financial decision without independent verification from a qualified appraiser or advisor.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WatchVin to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent records.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of the service.
• Use the platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Account termination and data deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all associated data — including watch records, documents, and account information — is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts. You may export your collection data before deletion from Settings → Data & Ownership.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. In the event of service discontinuation, we will provide reasonable notice and the ability to export your data.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

WatchVin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchVin's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of WatchVin after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the service and may delete your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of WatchVin shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
